About Sculptor Fly Freeman

A British-born sculptor now rooted in Uxbridge, Fly Freeman has evolved from her beginnings as a stone carver into creating dynamic sculptures, functional artworks, and furniture using wood, paper, glass, metal, and stone.

Her work explores the forces of balance, tension, gravity, and the shifting energies of Ontario's seasons and landscape, embodying movement and the stark beauty of light through materials like hand crafted paper or coloured glass.

About Ceramic Artist Ann Cummings

Also exhibiting at Studio 6, Ann Cummings is a ceramicist who creates hand-thrown platters inspired by Japanese decorative traditions and deeply personal "imaginary landscapes."

Her work conveys scenes of nature seeking refuge—twisting vines, delicate creatures amid sheltering forms imbued with mystery, playfulness, and an urgent sense of protection for the environment.
