Yahowah Opal & Gaspeite Pendant
Spring is definitely in the air with this bright and cheerful two-stone, textured silver pendant created from a wonderful Yahowah opal paired with the rich green gaspeite.
I love the sublime colours in the opal top stone. There is an iridescence that works so well with the spring green of the gaspeite stone on the bottom.
If you look closely among the ribbons of green and blue on the opal there is also a wee little bit of purple as well.
About the Stone
Yahowah opals are mined in Australia. Gaspeite, now considered a rare stone due to depletion is named after the first deposits were found in the Gaspe Peninsula in Quebec. Other deposits are found in Australia
