Flint is an ancient stone, deeply revered by Neolithic man as a protective talisman. Ancient Greeks placed flint in their beds to protect them against nightmares and negative energy.

This unusually shaped, silver framed pendant is suspended from a textured handmade chain that can be adjusted for any length.  Creamy beige and taupe colours in the the stone resemble muddy, rolling waters, and when knocked against another piece of flint, it throws off sparks.

About the Stone

Striped flint is a composition of chalcedony and opal and can only be found in one location on the earth - in Poland, on the Vistula River, near the town of Sandomierz.
